Wow... the last few days have been super busy....
My two year old, Aiden, broke his bed and dresser. (Don't ask..lol) So, we went to the furniture store and got him new ones. Well... we assumed we would have to put everything together, and prepared for flat boxes. We got one flat box for the bed, and true to Murphy's Law the dresser came fully made. The box was huge. So, we took the bed, and picked up the dresser the next day. Anyway, while we were looking at the beds, Aiden laid down on one and said, " Okay, ni' night...close your eyes...turn off the light." then pretended to sleep...giggling the whole time. It was too cute. When we got home and as we unpacked each piece of the bed, he jumped up and down and very excitedly stated, "My bed.... My bed." He was thrilled to finally have a big boy bed. I'd like to say that he went right to sleep in his new big boy bed, but alas...he's still all two. Big boy bed or not, he was not wanting to go to bed. As for me... that was one task down that I needed to get done. Yay for me!!
Okay so, I decided to write out a to do list of everything I need to finish or take care of, on top of my everyday responsibilities. As, I write stuff down, and the list is getting even longer, I'm starting to wonder what the heck I was thinking starting all these projects.
Another thing that has been added to my list, is purging unneeded crap. We are moving back to the States at the end or even possibly the middle of this year. I definitely don't want to come back with a bunch of boxes filled with stuff we really don't need. Sooo... cleaning out closets, and storage areas will be added to my never ending to do list. I think my husband, Ed, is going to go into shock with some of the things I've been thinking about tossing. Yes, ladies and gentleman, I am a saver. Some people may call it being sentimental, or just being wise for the future. Others call it hoarding... I don't think I've gotten that bad... yet. I'm not going to let it get to that point, hence the New Years resolution. : P

So... whenever I finish my list, I'm going to count them all up and try to do as many as I can each day to reach my goal. The purging crap task needs to be finished before the movers come to pack up our house. I have plenty of time, but don't want to put it off. (I'm good at that...lol)
Okay off to finish my list and start marking of some tasks... I'll write again soon.
